Just a short drive from the nearest town, this location has an overlook area near the visitor's center that has the best views. Looking past the reservoir you can see Mt. Sneffles nestled perfectly in the background. This is an ideal spot for all ages, but keep in mind there is a lot of cactus and cliff edges- so small children need to be attended to at all times.
